I am a marine ecologist who specializes in the application of isotopic and molecular tracers to understand the diet and trophic ecology of marine fish species, with a particular emphasis on elasmobranchs. I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where I received my BS cum laude in Biological Sciences, being named a NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Scholar along the way. In 2026, I earned my PhD in Environmental Science and Policy with honors in the Shark Research and Conservation lab of Dr. Catherine Macdonald at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School, producing a dissertation titled “Refining nursery management with fine-scale ecological data: Multi-tracer reconstruction of shark trophodynamics across ontogeny.”
